One Shot, on-field
Xbox has long partnered with Major League Soccer. So, it was only natural to extend that into a big event to help promote Xbox One in it’s infancy. The promotion—to send a picture of you with the latest all-in-one entertainment system. The prize—an on-field free kick for a chance at $100,00 and instant fame.
This promotion took place in Seattle’s (Sounders) rival city, Portland (Timbers), and took over Pioneer Square with the Every Street United webisode series, the city with billboards, print and digital banners, and a wrap on Portland’s MAX rail system. Ultimately, the winner missed his shot (…and THAT’S putting it lightly), but our presence was undeniable.
