One of Wunderman’s Food and Beverage clients, Outback Steakhouse, required a way to convey daily specials and marketing to it’s clientele. In response, we developed the Outback 365 App. Each day, customers could log in for members-only deals including the ever-popular free Bloomin’ Onion. We linked this offer with sponsored NASCAR drivers Kevin Harvick and Ryan Newman… if they won on Sunday, patrons won on Monday. Then Tuesday… and sometimes Wednesday. Regardless, this app was a huge hit with the client.
Phase two of this project was to revamp the look and feel—to streamline the experience and make the graphics bigger. I was able to take our interface to a more modern layout with better-integrated timers, larger food images, flat color schemes, and a more useful, persistent interface at the bottom.
